Monitor Appointed to ISD
The TEA formally informed (Aug. 31) officials of the 8,267-student South San Antonio ISD that a monitor will be appointed to the district.

The letter accompanied the release of a final TEA investigation that found, among other things, that school board members operated outside their authority by making personal requests for information from staff, vendors and others, and to discuss business with them, without the superintendent’s prior knowledge.
