The project, a collaboration between SpaceX, the district, and two other partners, will initially provide free Internet service to 45 families by early 2021, and is expected to service an additional 90 families as network capabilities continue to grow.

Name change
The 14,574-student San Angelo ISD school board on Oct. 20 became the latest Texas district to change the name of a school from Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

The reported board vote was 6-1 to change the name of Robert E. Lee Middle School to a name to be determined later, based on suggestions for a new name submitted by the public.

In recent months, the Tyler, El Paso and Midland districts have been among the districts to change names of schools from honoring Gen. Lee and/or other Confederacy-associated historical figures.
